When I made this comic, I was getting this vibe that young Erin and older Beatrix were making a connection. A connection that older Erin probably will never have as Erin ages. Right now, there's only a three years difference between our current Erin and future Beatrix, however, there's an entire eight years difference between the Erin and Beatrix from the same time (both our current Erin and baby Beatrix and future Erin and future Beatrix.)

If future Beatrix and future Erin become permanent characters, Beatrix will definitely take young Erin's side over older Erin. (Of course, all connections between Jonas and future Beatrix have been flushed down the tube and if future Beatrix goes back to her time, she'll always find it awkward to be in the same room as her own Jonas. Ah well...)

Yeah, so...I decided to do more of my own thoughts on my characters, I hope no one minds.

Ah...speaking of characterizations, I took a quiz on Erin and even though she's female and I'm male, Erin is a Mary Sue. Mary Sues are characters who reflect the opinions, feelings, and interests of the writer. Sometimes it's not a bad thing, but if it's overdone, then it tends to be. For the most part, Mary Sues are the worse in fanfiction. The best Mary Sue I've seen is Harry Dresden of the Dresden Files. Yeah, I guess it's how you do it.
