Okay, so I have a bit of a redesign again. But if the more realistic Kim picture is anything to go by, they have those plate thingies on their chests, I just never draw them...or their scales.

Also, they lost one of their fingers. Not for cartoony reasons, I just wanted to make their hands look more like their feet, but still function the way they used to. They looked too human earlier. Humans with press on nails. I want them to be more like talons.

Thoughts on redesign?

Oh...and for big changes such as moving out and having a mother as a governor (that rhymes), it's best if you tell Erin gently.

The plaque on Erin's wall is from the US Dragon Novelist Society for Best Young Novelist of 2020. I don't know what they give novelists...a plaque? Trophy? *Shrugs.* Maybe some day I'll get one.

Ooh, I like the new design!

Wait... was this all a setup for an Erin-moving-out arc? That seems like something that would happen in this comic...

I am not so fond of the new design. Mostly because the scales look too rough and cluttered. If they were fewer and sparser I think I would like that.

Actually, Erin moving out is a subplot.

Yeah, I think I went a little overboard with scales. Honestly, I removed quite a few of them before finishing the comic.

I can always do a little fewer on Friday's comic.

I'm not fond of this redesign. I though we had actual quads talking in this comic before I read the description.

Next time a major redesign takes place, please add an extra line under the comic header and warn us about the redesign? You really had me confused.

Fair enough, I guess.

Scary scaly.... you kill the cuteness. Nooooouuuuu........ Anyway, does the chestplate based on Andrew's? Well, lemme send you my dragon and you tell me you like it or not. Cause I'm putting Egyptian Dragon in my universe. I know... there's no such dragon in Egypt. That's because I can't put them in European or Asian Dragon category(not mean to be racist). Soooo... it's just overscale. The rest gone good. That's my thought.

Huh? The year is 2020? Or more? The skynet isn't real, right?

It's mentioned every so often, but DC was set some years in the future. It was a plot point made near the start of the comic to try to make it seem like it *could* be real life.

Well...it was done mostly so that I could age Erin and then Jonas. I stopped when Beatrix was hatched and just let her age with the comic.

The addition to their design isn't bad, I like the added chest plates. The scales aren't bad, but I would agree they look a bit.. cluttered? I think they would look great with the scales, but perhaps with fewer of them. But that is just my opinion. For me, it seems a bit visually distracting.
